Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe / Kampala

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kampala. After settling in, there is a briefing about the safari ahead, giving you an overview of what to expect. Dinner is included, and the evening allows time to rest and prepare for the journey. Accommodation is at a comfortable 3-4★ hotel in Kampala.

Day 2 – Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

Depart early in the morning from Kampala and drive towards Murchison Falls National Park. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the spectacular falls. This is an excellent opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife. You stay overnight at a safari lodge near the falls, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 3 – Murchison Falls Game Drive

Start the day with a morning game drive, spotting elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes in the park’s diverse ecosystems. For those interested, there is an optional hike to the top of Murchison Falls, offering stunning panoramic views. The night is spent at the same lodge, with all meals included.

Day 4 – Murchison Falls to Karuma / Kidepo Valley

Drive from Murchison Falls towards Karuma, stopping along the Nile for photos and wildlife sightings. Continue on to Kidepo Valley, passing through rural villages and enjoying cultural encounters along the way. Accommodation is either a lodge or a tented safari camp in Kidepo, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided.

Day 5 – Kidepo Valley National Park Game Drive

Spend a full day exploring Kidepo Valley National Park on a game drive. This remote wilderness offers sightings of predators, rare antelopes, and a variety of savannah wildlife. Return to your camp or lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – Kidepo Valley Cultural Visit

Visit local Karamojong villages to interact with the communities and learn about their traditional practices and way of life. The afternoon is free for relaxation at your lodge or camp. Meals are included throughout the day, and accommodation remains at the same camp or lodge.

Day 7 – Kidepo to Pakwach / Nile River

Drive towards Pakwach with scenic stops for photography and wildlife spotting along the way. In the evening, there is an optional boat safari on the Nile, offering more chances to see hippos, crocodiles, and birds. Overnight is at a safari lodge near Pakwach with all meals included.

Day 8 – Pakwach to Kampala

Begin the scenic return journey to Kampala, stopping en route for lunch and sightseeing. Upon arrival, enjoy the evening relaxing at your hotel or shopping for souvenirs. Accommodation is at a 3-4★ hotel in Kampala, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 9 – Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight, concluding your Uganda safari adventure.

What to Pack

Lightweight safari clothing in neutral colors, comfortable walking shoes and sandals, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, binoculars and camera with extra batteries, a light rain jacket for occasional showers, and personal toiletries and medications.

Vaccinations such as Yellow Fever are recommended, and malaria prophylaxis is advised for certain regions. Weather & Climate: Uganda has a tropical climate. Expect warm temperatures during the day and cooler evenings, especially in higher altitudes or near rivers. Light rain jackets are recommended for occasional showers.
