We believe every traveler deserves a balanced adventure: challenging Kilimanjaro trek, comfortable accommodations, and immersive wildlife experiences. Our itineraries are designed for safety, sustainability, and unforgettable memories.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you are picked up and transferred to Moshi town. After checking into Moshi Lodge, the evening is spent in a briefing about your upcoming Kilimanjaro trek. This is a chance to prepare mentally and physically, meet your guides, and get an overview of the adventure ahead. Dinner is provided, and the night allows you to rest and acclimatize.
The trek begins at Machame Gate, where you enter the lush rainforest of Kilimanjaro. Over five to seven hours of hiking, you gradually ascend through scenic trails and diverse vegetation. The day ends at Machame Camp, where you settle in and enjoy your first night on the mountain, preparing for higher altitudes.
Your journey continues through the moorlands, moving above the rainforest. The five to six-hour trek brings you to Shira Camp, offering expansive views and an opportunity to admire Kilimanjaro’s unique flora. This day helps with further acclimatization as the terrain becomes more open and high-altitude conditions begin to set in.
Today’s trek of six to seven hours takes you past the famous Lava Tower, climbing and then descending to Barranco Camp. The hike challenges your stamina while providing breathtaking mountain vistas. Barranco Camp becomes your resting point for the night, allowing your body to adapt to the altitude.
The trek continues for four to five hours as you navigate the Barranco Wall. Along the way, you are treated to panoramic mountain views and a sense of accomplishment as the trail gradually ascends and descends. Karanga Valley Camp is your home for the night, offering a quiet spot to rest and prepare for the next stage.
In four hours of trekking, you reach Barafu Camp, the final camp before the summit. The afternoon is spent resting, hydrating, and preparing mentally for the early morning climb. This night is an early one to ensure you are ready for the summit attempt.
This is the most challenging and rewarding day. You begin the summit climb in the early hours, ascending to Uhuru Peak to witness the sunrise at Africa’s highest point, 5,895 meters. After celebrating at the summit, you descend to Mweka Camp for well-earned rest. The day is long—around ten to twelve hours—but the views and achievement are unforgettable.
After a final descent of three to four hours from Mweka, you return to Moshi Lodge. This is a day for relaxation, recovery, and celebration of your successful climb. Optional spa or massage treatments can help ease tired muscles after the challenging trek.
After breakfast, you transfer to Tarangire National Park. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive, encountering the park’s iconic elephants, giraffes, and ancient baobab trees. Tarangire Safari Lodge provides comfortable accommodation amid the park’s natural surroundings.
Today, you travel to Ngorongoro Crater, taking in the scenic landscapes along the way. A game drive inside the crater offers chances to spot rhinos, lions, zebras, and other wildlife in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. You stay overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, overlooking the crater rim.
You continue to the legendary Serengeti National Park. Spend the day exploring the vast plains and enjoying a sunset game drive, where lions, leopards, and seasonal wildebeest migrations may be observed. Overnight is at Serengeti Safari Lodge, immersed in the heart of wildlife territory.
On your final day, an optional morning game drive allows one last glimpse of the Serengeti’s wildlife. You then transfer back to Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha for your onward flight, completing an unforgettable adventure that blends mountain trekking with safari exploration.
