Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by your professional guide who will assist with your transfer to your lodge in Arusha, such as the Arusha Coffee Lodge or a similar high-quality property. This first day is intended to allow you to unwind after your flight. The lodge offers peaceful gardens, comfortable lounges, and optional short nature walks around the property to stretch your legs and begin acclimating to the Tanzanian environment. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge, relax, and prepare for the exciting safari adventures that await. Meals and airport transfer are included, while an optional evening nature walk offers a gentle introduction to the local flora and wildlife.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day exploration of Arusha National Park. The park features diverse landscapes ranging from lush rainforest and volcanic craters to scenic lakes. Begin with a guided walking safari through the forested areas, observing colobus monkeys, giraffes, and an array of bird species. Continue to Momella Lakes for a tranquil canoe ride, offering a unique perspective on the lake’s flamingos, hippos, and other aquatic wildlife. Your guide will provide insightful information on the park’s ecosystems, wildlife behavior, and conservation efforts. After a day of adventure, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation. All park entrance fees, professional guide services, and 4×4 transport are included. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Optional walking safaris allow travelers to experience the park up close on foot.
Depart early in the morning for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and abundant wildlife. Spend the day on game drives, spotting lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. Picnic lunch is served in the park, allowing you to relax amidst the savannah while observing wildlife around you. In the late afternoon, capture the perfect photographs during sunset over the plains, then return to Tarangire Treetops Lodge or a similar lodge for dinner and overnight stay. The lodge’s elevated design provides panoramic views and a comfortable retreat after a full day of exploration. All park entrance fees, guide services, and transportation are included.
On your final morning, you have the option to take an early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. Early mornings are ideal for wildlife activity and photography, as predators are more active and elephants are often seen feeding.
