Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Mkomazi National Park

Activities:
Upon arrival at the designated pick-up point—either Dar es Salaam, Arusha, or the Tanzania-Kenya border—you will be greeted by your professional driver-guide. Embark on a scenic transfer to Mkomazi National Park, a protected sanctuary famed for its rare black rhinos, elephants, giraffes, and zebras. En route, enjoy the views of rolling savannahs and local Maasai settlements.

In the late afternoon, take a short introductory game drive, allowing you to spot some of the park’s wildlife as they begin their evening activities. This is also a perfect opportunity for photography and to get acquainted with the African bush.

Evening:
Check in at Mkomazi Safari Camp (luxury tented accommodations with en-suite facilities). Enjoy a sumptuous dinner under the stars and relax while listening to the sounds of the African wilderness.

Afternoon & Evening:
Embark on a second game drive, exploring different habitats within the park. End the day with a sundowner in the bush, enjoying panoramic views while sipping refreshments. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Evening:
Check in at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge or Ashnil Aruba Lodge. Enjoy dinner with views over the savannah or lodge gardens.
