Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

• Activities: Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will assist with luggage and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short orientation briefing about Kenya, safari etiquette, and what to expect in the coming days.

• Highlights: A chance to relax after your flight, adjust to the African atmosphere, and prepare for the adventure ahead. Nairobi is East Africa’s hub, buzzing with life yet surrounded by wildlife reserves just outside the city.

• Nairobi evenings can be a bit cooler—carry a light sweater.

Day 2: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

• Activities: After an early breakfast, begin your drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, a journey of approximately 5–6 hours. Along the way, stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic scenery and photo opportunities. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by your first thrilling afternoon game drive in the Mara.

• Carry sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat—days can be sunny and hot.

• Always follow your guide’s instructions when in the park; animals have the right of way.

• Keep noise levels low to maximize chances of observing natural animal behavior.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Lake Naivasha

• Activities: After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha (approx. 5 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy a boat ride on the freshwater lake, famous for its large population of hippos, fish eagles, and a wide variety of bird species. You may also spot giraffes and antelopes along the shores. Later, enjoy an optional guided walk at Crescent Island sanctuary.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

• Activities: After breakfast, drive south to Amboseli National Park (approx. 6 hours). Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy a game drive on arrival. Amboseli is world-renowned for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, towering in the background of vast savannahs. The park is also famous for its large herds of elephants and other wildlife such as lions, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests.

• Highlights: The combination of wildlife and the snowcapped peak of Kilimanjaro offers some of the most iconic safari photography in Africa.

• Keep your camera ready for Kilimanjaro views, especially early morning and late evening when the mountain is most visible.

• Amboseli can be dusty—carry a scarf or light mask to cover your face.

• Stay hydrated and use insect repellent as mosquitoes are more common here.

Day 6: Amboseli – Nairobi & Departure

• Activities: Start your day with an optional early morning game drive for a final chance to spot wildlife in the golden light of dawn. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then check out and drive back to Nairobi (approx. 4–5 hours). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.

• Meals: Breakfast included

• Highlights: This marks the end of your safari, but the memories of lions, elephants, Kilimanjaro, and the Maasai Mara will stay with you forever.
