Travel Guidelines for Day 1:
Keep your travel documents and valuables in your hand luggage for easy access.
Nairobi evenings can be a bit cooler—carry a light sweater.
Remember to drink bottled water only to avoid stomach upsets.
Activities: After an early breakfast, begin your drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, a journey of approximately 5–6 hours. Along the way, stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic scenery and photo opportunities. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by your first thrilling afternoon game drive in the Mara.

Travel Guidelines for Day 2:
Carry a camera with enough memory cards and batteries—wildlife encounters are frequent.
Dress comfortably in neutral safari clothing (avoid bright colors).
The drive is long but scenic—carry some snacks and enjoy the journey.
Activities: Set out early for a full-day game drive across the vast plains of the Maasai Mara. Carry a picnic lunch and enjoy it in the heart of the wilderness, surrounded by breathtaking views and wildlife activity. With a full day dedicated to exploring, you will have the best chances of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino).

Travel Guidelines for Day 3:
Carry sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat—days can be sunny and hot.
Always follow your guide’s instructions when in the park; animals have the right of way.
Keep noise levels low to maximize chances of observing natural animal behavior.
Activities: After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha (approx. 5 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy a boat ride on the freshwater lake, famous for its large population of hippos, fish eagles, and a wide variety of bird species. You may also spot giraffes and antelopes along the shores. Later, enjoy an optional guided walk at Crescent Island sanctuary.

Carry binoculars for birdwatching.
Always wear a life jacket during the boat ride for safety.
Activities: After breakfast, drive south to Amboseli National Park (approx. 6 hours). Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy a game drive on arrival. Amboseli is world-renowned for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, towering in the background of vast savannahs. The park is also famous for its large herds of elephants and other wildlife such as lions, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests.
